Targeting your market is a crucial part of any business and of course no business could appeal to everyone It is impossible to be all things to all people in any area of life. But through  listening people you can make a good approach and to try to fit their needs.This is very important and good to know what business you are in. This will help you to feel more confident to recognize your SWOT.

Maybe you are a decorator or a hairdresser or a project manager. Do you recognize your business? How would you describe it? What is the main strapline? What is the Unique Selling Point?

In order to truly understand your customers you need to really to understand what they want and what they need. This is very hard sometimes to understand your close family and friends even ourselves so let alone customers who start off as strengers. We are all different, we have got different background, expectations, experiences and personalities and finally we are all different in our likes and dislikes.

The best way to find out how to delight your customers is to be in their shoes so simple just become a customer of your business or service and then ask yourself a few simple questions:

  • What kind of experience Do I have meeting others?
  • How do I feel about the experience I have had?
  • What did make me happy?
  • If there was any problem, how was it handled?

Of course, this is not easy but driving  a small business you have meet the opportunity to have contact with your customers and you can make them feel satisfied.

Working on the basic swot analyses will help you to make your business, service and product better, more attractive but first of all just simple you need to fit to customers needs by listening them. Listening is the secret key to people harts.

We spent approximately eight hours a day at work and it is very important that we like what we do. Customers prefer to buy from those businesses where staff are happy and they create a great atmosphere. I believe it is very important to provide any service with passion. The success starts from the person on the top (if we are talking about a big company) usually that person should motivate, inspire and develop his people. This kind of behavior is more important to small businesses where employers and owner(s) are more visible to their customers.So, fresh and innovation approach to the customers are very important.

DIRECT MARKETING PIECES

This part of marketing covers variety activities of materials that can very well get the world out about your business, service or product or a one-time promotion or event or activity dependant on your company philosophy in general.The list of the materials is endless but I wrote some of them below:(you know the form of the direct marketing strategy very well as its around us every day 😉 )
1) mail pieces
2) flyers
3) brochures
4) e-mail messages
5) catalogs
Every single day we receive minimum one direct mail in our mailbox.
A flyer comes through our door twice or more and a postcard or a brochure. The direct marketing is atound us.Last survey from 2012 showed that approximately 50bilion pieces of direct mail are sent out bringing about $120 bilion in sales. Huge and massive organizations use that form of a modern communication to make a bigger proffit, boosts sales, sharpen images, pay a bigger attention to its brands or generate leads.
The most most important is do not lose a right message to your business I mean with the direct mail piece you need to give the right goal with the answer:
Who is your audience? What do you want the piece to accomplish in reaching that audience?
Propably with the direct mail piece, of course if it goes to the right recipient, your message often is to urge an immediate response from the recipient by promoting a benefit that speaks directly to him.

Many of us have a web which is just a marketing tool for our customer andother businesses.However, no matter what business we have, a web should be a vibrant and full component of it I meannot just to offer details but also to make a conversation with our customers.

Writting a web can be difficult task so we should ask : how big should it be? What should it do?

What should it say? Etc…. every site is built on something for exp: on logo, services, products or USP and I think the very important is what should it bring to ours company inthe future?

We can work on different types of webs depends on the business

1) promotional

2) informational

3) transactional

Or we can combine them if it is needed.

Be Small,Act Big,Look Big

Whether we realize it or not , COMMUNICATION is the solid base for everyone. It is important in the business world. Even though English language is not my first I think I am aware that my communication skills should clear. As we can see no money,not a great idea or the buzz makes business to lead. Just simple message createt to the right audience helps businessess to save time and make money.Of course we know different kind of communication and what is used depends on kind of business and its profile and a message to grab the audience.
My message for today is Be Small, Act Big,Look Big
Look at your logo. Does it say enough about your company?
Have you got your website, if so when was the last time it was updated?
Do you have a databse if yes when was the last time it was updated?
Do you promptly returns calls?
How do you approach your clients and do you really care of them?
There are more questions than I written. However, the above are a good way to considering.
